Personal history

Born in Ehime, Japan, in 1953
She worked for ten years for television production of both drama and documentary in Japan.
This wasfollowed by the next five years based in Britain as Japanese television news correspondent, to report special topics of overseas wars, disasters, famines and current affairs.
During her globetrotting, she developed ulcerative colitis, and at the end of her tether, she made a life-changing visit to a homoeopath, who led her to complete cure by homoeopathic treatment.
She then left the world of television and signed up for a course in homoeopathy, and learnt classical homoeopathy at the Regent’s College in London. She transferred to the College of Practical Homoeopathy London (CPH) from the second year and graduated from the college.
She passed a qualifying examination of the Homeopathic Medical Association (HMA) in Britain, when she graduated from the CPH, and became a professional registered homoeopath. She was given a special award in recognition of her hard work and efforts to overcome the language barrier as the first Japanese person to sit for these exams. In Britain she opened the Yui Homoeopathic Clinic and began practicing as a homoeopath. At the same time, she also continued her studies on a two-year postgraduate course at the CPH, feeling that she should deepen her knowledge of homoeopathy. During this time, she met Dr. Nelson, who contributed the reentry into the atmosphere of Apolo 13 by giving orbital calculation, lecturing at the college, and she received a special education to benefit from his brilliant instruction. While studying at college she was also practicing as a homoeopath. Following graduation she poured all her energy into her work as a homoeopath and accumulated a great deal of clinical experience. Thereafter, she started to practice in Japan, as well, and has been taking an active part in homoeopathy for 17 years. Her homoeopathic practice has succeeded in difficult cases, such as developmental disorders, autoimmune diseases, inner child, and so on. Her homoeopathic approach to iatrogenic diseases, which is advanced sector, is gathered attention from the world.
She established a homoeopathic college, the Japan Royal Academy of Homoeopathy (RAH), which she has been serving as the principal. This college is out-and-out practicalism and is not attached to any schools nor any dogmas, aiming at bringing up universally accepted professional homoeopaths. This college has already invited more than 100 homoeopaths as lecturers from overseas and has hold lectures with interpreters.
The college has 10 bases in Japan and in Britain.
The RAH in Britain is registered at Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted). She supervised a project of translating “Organon der Helikunst 6. Auflage” and “Die Chronischen Krankheiten 2. Auflage” by Samuel Hahnemann, a father of homoeopathy, from the original German text.
In 1998, she founded the Japanese Homoeopathic Medical Association (JPHMA) as an organisation for academic part of homoeopathy, professional homoeopaths, and development and spread of homoeopathy.
She has been familiar for ‘Torako sensei (*sensei means a teacher)’, as her lecture is full of humane, emotions and inspiration.
